Magherafelt based Spires Cycling Club will host their sportive this weekend, in aid of Kilronan School.

The annual event will take place on Sunday, September 8.  Cyclists can sign on at the Rainey Old Boys Rugby Club, from 8.30 - 9.30.

The cost of entry is £15 and will include refreshments.

Anyone who doesn't have a Cycling Ireland licence must purchase a day licence, at the cost of £5.

"All riders are welcome,, with a choice of routes, food and refreshments en-route and afterwards and a good day's craic in the saddle," commented Aidan McAuley of Spires.

"All funds raised will support specialised cycle equipment for Kilronan School."
