After winning his first race last week, Ballinascreen's Cathir Doyle was again on the podium after finishing in second-place.

Doyle was in a breakaway in Wednesday's race and despite a puncture with 10km to go, he finished second.

The St Colm's Draperstown student, who cycles for Ireland, is awaiting his GCSE results in the coming weeks.

He is on a cycling bursary with Dany Blondeel's ;'The Belgian Project', a venture geared at giving the top young Irish riders exposure to European racing.
