It's two down, one to go. Maybe even three to go.
That's the way Connor Coyle's red hot form will be looking at it as the Derry boxer aims to continue his winning ways in the Commonwealth middleweight division this evening.
The St. Joseph's fighter is back in action in Glasgow at around 8.45pm tonight with a quarter final berth against Siphiwe Lusizi of South Africa and he knows that another victory will secure a second medal in as many nights for Derry in the boxing in Glasgow.
Coyle has already seen off Lungile Dyamdeki and Dennis Thomas without dropping a single round and, should he advance into the semis this evening, he will follow in the footsteps of Sean McGlinchey and secure at least a bronze medal for the city.
Coyle is hot property at the Games at the moment (as the media scrimmage pictured above shows) and, should he bag himself a medal with one more win, there's no reason why he won't be looking farther.
