Ulster Senior Football Championship Quarter Final
Derry v Donegal
Sunday, Celtic Park, 2pm

Brian McIver insists that Derry are capable of beating anyone as the Derry boss takes his side into the Ulster championship quarter final on Sunday.

The Oak Leafers surprised many with an extended league campaign that took them the whole way to the decider in Croke Park and, having watched Donegal do the same in the Division Two decider, McIver knows the weekend's clash will be tough.  But it is one he heads into with confidence.

"We know Donegal are a very good side and we respect that," McIver said.  "We know we are playing against former All-Ireland champions and we've already met last year's All-Ireland champions.

"But we also know ourselves that we're capable of playing anyone in the country and beating anyone in the country.  This year has been a big, big learning curve for us but we would like to think that we would be giving it our best shot."

Today's County Derry Post has a comprehensive 16-page supplement building up to the big game.
