The Waterside Half Marathon will take place this year on September 14.

Applications are now online or available from Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre and the closing date for entries is August 22 - registrations submitted after this date will incur an additional cost.

Now in its 33rd year, the race will follow the improved 2013 route departing from Gransha Park grounds, and for anyone daunted by the prospect of the testing 13.1 mile race there is the Three-Person Relay option, breaking the race into more manageable segments.

This year there will be no Ten Mile Walk Challenge, so previous walkers may want to step things up a gear and take on the new challenge of the relay. Alternatively there will still be the 2km Waterside Fun Run for people of all ages who want to support the event.
