Runaway leaders Cork City are surely on their way to winning the 2017 Airtricity League Premier Division title after tonight's games.

John Caulfield's side thumped champions Dundalk 3-0 at Oriel Park to go a staggering 18 points clear at the summit as the summer break begins.

Derry City are up to third after a 2-1 win over Galway United.

Finn Harps took a point from their trip to The Showgrounds this evening where they held Sligo Rovers to a 0-0 draw.

Elsewhere, Bohs and Drogheda played out a scoreless draw, Limerick beat Bray 5-3 and Shamrock Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling St. Patrick's Athletic.

Three clubs are relegated at the end of the season.
