Oxford Bulls had a very special visitor to their training session this week.
The team, founded for players with Down snydrome, had a visit from former Northern Ireland and Celtic star Paddy McCourt.
The Bull's receive support from the Foyle Down Syndrome Trust and were formed to give their players the chance to play the game they love.
Paddy took the players through their passing drills and delivered a masterclass in taking corners.
He also took part in a training game where he made an error allowing one of the Bull's to score but redeemed himself by soon providing an assist for a goal.
Coach Kevin Morrison said that the Bull's were all delighted to have Paddy join them and posted the following poem to mark the special occasion:
So lads after a fantastic effort,
I think it's time we hit the hay
Maybe to dream about goals and passes.
And the day we played with the Derry Pelé.
