Trio Joshua Daniels, Ronan Curtis and Ben Doherty have all been included in a Republic of Ireland U21 home based squad to face the Ireland Amateur squad next month.
The threesome will be hoping to get some game time in the friendly, which takes place on Saturday February 11, at AUL Complex in Dublin and Derry manager Kenny Shiels believes the call-ups prove that the club is heading in the right direction.
“Josh, Ronan and Ben have progressed really well for us and it is indicative of the direction the club is moving,” said the Derry boss.
