PERSTON, Helen Rachel (née Johnston) - Millbrae, Doneybrewer, Eglinton, born 29th December 1938, died unexpectedly but peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 8th July 2016. Retired District Nurse and former Lady Captain and Secretary of City of Derry Golf Club, wife of the late Charles Moore Perston, mother of Claire, Vicki and Cara, granny of Matthew and James, and sister of Rev. Elizabeth Johnston. Friends and neighbours are welcome at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, on Monday 18th July at 10.30am to meet and have cup of tea with the family. LAIRD (née SMYTH), Cherrie Roberta – 10th July 2016, (suddenly) at The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, much-loved mother of David, Leanne and Kirsty, devoted grandmother of Robert, Matthew, Ryan, Heather and Jamie, loving sister of Carol, Fay and Gordon, a dear aunt and sister-in-law. Funeral Service in her late home, 176 Lincoln Courts, Waterside tomorrow ( Wednesday) evening at 6.30pm followed by cremation in Roselawn Crematorium on Thursday 14th at 10.00am. Family flowers only. FORREST, Roderick (Limavady) - 11th July 2016 (peacefully) at Foyle Hospice, formerly of 120 Roemill Road, beloved husband of the late Eileen (RIP), much loved father of Tanya, Leanne and Tara. Father-in-law to Clive and Richard, grandfather of Genna, Connor, Carrie ,Lucy, Libby-Rose, Tom and great-grandfather of Evan, brother of Diana, Sandra and Colin. His remains will repose at his daughter Leanne's home at 22 Seacoast Rd, Lisnakilly, Limavady and will leave there on Thursday 14th at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass at St. Marys Church, Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
