Poet Brian Bilston is paying a return visit to Seamus Heaney HomePlace later this year.
Brian is a British poet and author who uses the pseudonym, Brian Bilston to publish short and pithy, often humorous poems on Twitter (X) – which are then spread widely on social media.
He has been described as the Banksy of poetry and “Poet Laureate of Twitter” (X).
He has published several bestselling collections of poetry, including 'You Took the Last Bus Home', 'Alexa, What Is There to Know About Love?' and 'Days Like These'.
His novel 'Diary of a Somebody' was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award, and he has also written collections of poetry for younger readers. 2025 sees the release of an album of Brian’s poetry set to music in collaboration with The Catenary Wires.

Brian maintains an air of anonymity, always appearing in publicity photographs behind a book, and often beside his cat!
