Muireann Bradley has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music
Ballybofey blues musician Muireann Bradley is to play the iconic Guildhall in Derry as part of the city’s jazz festival in April.
The teenager, who completed a headline tour across the UK and Ireland in November, is to perform as part of this year’s City of Derry Jazz & Big Band Festival.
Bradley became an overnight sensation in 2023 when she appeared on Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny BBC TV programme.
Lauded for her technique and talent in covering classic country blues numbers, she signed with the noted American traditionalist label Tompkins Square when she was 14.
Her debut album, I Kept These Old Blues, which was released in December 2023, reached number 1 on the Amazon download chart in the UK and got into the top 10 on the ITunes chart UK and broke into the Amazon New Folk Music Chart in the US.
