BIIRD, the brand-new 11-piece Irish traditional music supergroup
BIIRD, the brand-new 11-piece Irish traditional music supergroup, is bringing their highly anticipated first-ever tour to the Nerve Centre in Derry on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Following a whirlwind entrance onto the Irish music scene, the all-female ensemble has quickly built a fervent fanbase with their electrifying and unique live performances.
Hailed for a collective energy that seamlessly blends exhilarating dance tunes with powerful, emotional vocals, BIIRD promises a show that will have audiences "dancing and singing like the feral creature you are one minute and weeping with pride the next."
The group burst onto the scene in March 2024 with a spectacular debut performance for 10,000 people at Trafalgar Square in London. Since then, they have sold out three headline shows and packed out a major tent at the All Together Now festival in August.
"BIIRD will soon be a household name," organisers stated. "Don't miss your chance to see them on their first ever tour!"
Tickets for the Nerve Centre performance (Friday, May 1 2026) go on sale this coming Monday, November 17 at 10.00am via Ticketmaster.ie.
