Popular Christmas Craft and Food Fayre set to return to Cumber House, Claudy

The festive event will be held in Cumber Country House, Claudy.

Cumber Country House in Claudy is set to host the 2024 Christmas Food and Craft Fayre on November 16 and 17.

Running from 11am to 4pm on both days, the Christmas Food and Craft Fayre is a vibrant celebration of the Festive season.

Set in the beautiful Georgian House, Cumber Country House - the perfect festive venue, this event invites families, friends and the whole community to immerse themselves in the warmth of the season.

Don’t miss out on the festive cheer—mark your calendars and join us for a wonderful weekend celebrating the spirit of Christmas.

Highlights of the Fayre include live music and delightful performances from local musicians and singers- Stanza and Jazztalk that will keep the festive spirit alive throughout the event. A few special guests will also join in for a sing-a-long.

Food lovers will be in heaven with a wide selection of local bakers, cheese makers and food vendors offering samples of their festive delights. Indulge in everything from artisanal cheeses to homemade jams, and discover the perfect flavours to add to your holiday table. The rich aromas of seasonal treats will create a festive atmosphere that beckons everyone to taste and explore. Perfect for getting into the holiday mood!

Don’t miss the chance to meet Santa Claus and capture special holiday memories. Photos will be provided by Laura O’Kane from Laura’s Gallery. Children’s entertainment will be available throughout with face painting and balloon modelling.

Visitors will also be able to wander through an array of stalls showcasing handcrafted goods, from exquisite jewellery to charming home décor. Each stall tells a story, featuring talented artisans who pour their creativity into every piece. It’s the perfect place to find unique gifts that carry a personal touch, making your holiday shopping a delightful experience.

For those with a penchant for baking, the Christmas Baking Competition is a highlight not to be missed. Participants can showcase their culinary skills, and the chance to win exciting prizes adds a competitive spirit to the festivities. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a novice, it’s an opportunity to share your creations and gain recognition

This year's Christmas Charity Raffle will see proceeds going to The Kindness of Strangers Charity, Kinship care NI. Visitors are being urged to help make a difference for disadvantaged children in kinship care through the Christmas Charity Raffle. The goal is to provide essential support and joyful experiences for these children, who often face unique challenges in their lives. Tickets are now available for purchase at the Christmas Food and Craft Fayre and prizes include experiences, gift baskets, art, vouchers and much more. The draw will be held on Sunday, November 17 at 3.45pm.

All proceeds from the raffle and Hot Chocolate with Santa will go directly to programs supporting children in kinship care, ensuring they receive the resources and opportunities they deserve. Your participation not only gives you a chance to win fantastic prizes but also helps create a brighter future for these children.

This Christmas Food and Craft Fayre is designed to be a fun day out for the whole family, making it the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping, enjoy tasty treats, and create lasting memories together.
