LegenDerry Cannabis Club hosted a 4/2o cannabis legislation rally at Derry's Guildhall Square yesterday afternoon.

Around 200 people gathered at Guildhall Square for the '4/20' event.

The event started at 4:20pm, at which time those in attendance were asked to 'light up' in a show of solidarity and unity with other cannabis users across the world.

There were around a dozen police officers present at the event, which was also attended by the former People Before Profit MLA Eamonn McCann

It is understood that one person was arrested during the event.

A Legenderry Cannabis Club spokesperson said: "This is the main video of today's 4/20 peaceful protest until the PSNI swarmed into the crowd, no one was doing any harm until they decided to try and bully a bunch of peaceful protesters, while Belfast had zero police at their 4/20 event."
