After a day of ice, rain, hailstones, a clatter of thunder and a flash of lightning, it’s difficult to believe that “summer time” officially began two weeks ago.
So, what can we look forward to over the next few days?
Well, with temperatures set to plummet -2 °C.again overnight, early risers can once again expect to be greeted with icy conditions tomorrow morning.
Forecasters predict the rest of the day will be mostly dry and bright with some sunny spells and the odd shower but these will be much lighter and isolated than today.
Maximum temperature is predicted to 10 °C.
It will turn cloudier into next week with spells of rain on Monday and Tuesday with some bright spells and lighter winds on Wednesday.
