Footage has emerged of the theft of a defibrillator from a Derry shop.
The theft occurred at 3.11am in Spar at Church Meadows in Waterside on Saturday.
Police have appealed for information after the theft of a defibrillator from the Spar store at Church Meadows in Derry's Waterside in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Spar store at Church Meadows hit the headlines last year following the destruction of their community funded defibrillator.
It had been thought that the store would have to begin fundraising once again to raise the £1,500 needed to replace the machine but this was avoided thanks to a donation from London based policeman Al Moore.
DUP Foyle MLA Gary Middleton has branded the attack 'disgraceful'.
Mr Middleton said "It is disgraceful that once again the defibrillator at Church Meadows has been targeted in this way. This piece of equipment could help save a life. It is deeply disturbing that anyone would take it upon themselves to carry out such a low act.
"I would urge anyone with any information to contact the PSNI on 101 as soon as possible."
