Police in Derry investigating this week’s bomb attack at the Probation Services office in Crawford Square have released CCTV footage of the device exploding.

No one was injured when the bomb exploded shortly 11.00pm on Monday.

The senior police officer leading the investigation into the attack, Detective Chief Inspector James Mullen, said the footage was being released as part of a renewed appeal for information.

He added: “We remain keen to hear from anyone who was in the Crawford Square area from 10.00pm onwards on Monday and who saw the device being left, or saw suspicious individuals or activity in the area.”

He said information could be given on the police non-emergency telephone number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
