Seán Dolan’s GAC hosts a vibrant day of sport and family fun to provide vital IVF funding for local families

Sean Dolan’s GAC was a hive of activity on Saturday as the Creggan Club held its annual Daire’s Day at Piggery Ridge.

Held in memory of little Daire McGinley, whose parents Eamon and Rachael, are both prominent members of the Creggan club, Daire’s Day helps raise vital funds to support local families through the gruelling journey of IVF.

Saturday’s activities kicked off with a Coffee Morning with live music, bouncy castles and raffles before a Ladies 7s competition which was followed by a Men’s 7s tournament – and all for a great cause! Photographer Deirdre Heaney was among the crowd at Piggery Ridge so why not check out a few of Deirdre’s photos from a memorable day…...
