Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council has visited pupils at Long Tower Primary School in Bishop Street to read to P1 and P2 students.
The visit was part of her Storytelling initiative where she reads children’s literature to them to help inspire a lifelong love of reading and support language development.
It aims to provide young children with a fun, interactive way to engage with books and connect directly with the Mayor.
Schools wishing to find out more or connect with the Mayor's office can get in touch via email at [email protected].
