A bonfire was lit, stories were told, turnips glowed, music and craic flowed at Silverbrook Mills as Dennet Men's Shed & She Shed hosted a special Halloween celebration for the local community.
Members have been busy working with artist Gavin Campbell on traditional arts and crafts as part of the Tales & Turnips programme, delivered by Derry City and Strabane District Council and supported by Arts Council NI's Rural Engagement Arts Programme.
A wonderful evening was had by young and old and special thanks go out to Damien Devine ( FROG Outdoor Nature Education) , Gavin & Theresa ( Gaia Heritage Arts) for their warm hospitality, all the wonderful musicians for the tunes and Frank Rafferty for the stories.
