Magherafelt musician Pandy Walshe will release his new song in the town on Tuesday night.
After his recent trip to Sydney, Magherafelt musician Pandy Walshe was inspired to write the original song about his experience of performing in the biggest Irish bar in the city, namely The Cock n Bull Hotel.
The song is aimed at all the Irish contingent who have made Sydney their home and indeed spend a lot of time frequenting the bar.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Pandy said: "My son has been working for the owners of The Cock n Bull Hotel for three years now and he thought it would be a great idea to pen something as it had never been done before.”
The song will be released on Easter Tuesday night in Bryson’s Entertainment Complex in Magherafelt and on the night Pandy will be joined by a host of fellow singers including, Brendan Quinn, Johnny Brady, Gino Lupari, Damien McKee from "Beoga" and his wife Maureen, Michael Glackin and many more.
Admission is £10 which includes a copy of the five track EP and a light supper served at 9.30pm sharp. Doors open at 8.30pm.
