Special group set up in Derry aims to support people with dementia to combine their memories with a love of music

A special music group has been set up in Derry to support people with dementia.

The ‘Melodies and Memories’ group is for people with Alzheimer’s, dementia or memory loss.

Members of their families are also welcome to get involved.

The group meet every Monday afternoon from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at the Foyle Arts Building on Lawrence Hill.
