Hundreds of schoolchildren took part in the first of a series of cross-country races in Derry today.
The Primary Schools Cross Country League kicked out this afternoon with races at Thornhill College.
There were three races in total: a fun run, a boys race and a girls race.
The second race in the series will take place at St Columb's Park on December 5.
