Police have warned Derry motorists they are putting themselves and others in danger by ignoring the one-way system on the Drumahoe Road.
The road is currently one-way due to ongoing work following the recent floods.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "We've received reports that motorists are disregarding the one-way system on the Drumahoe Road (outside the Three Mile House) and continuing to use this road in both directions.
"Please remember this road is only open to city bound traffic due to ongoing work following the recent floods.
"City bound traffic travelling from Drumahoe Road/Fincairn Road can cross the bridge at the three mile house in the direction of Altnagelvin.
"Drumahoe bound traffic travelling on the Drumahoe Road towards the Three Mile House is diverted via Church Road, Millbrooke Patk and Glenshane Road.
"Think to yourself is disregarding the diversion to gain a couple of minutes worth putting yourself or others in danger! Don't take that risk!"
