Police in Derry have arrested and charged a 35-year-old man with a number of counts of burglary and driving offences, including dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.

The charges follow a burglary at licensed premises in the Queen’s Quay area of Derry in the early hours of 8 September; a burglary at retail premises in the Foyle Street area of the city on 17 July; and a road traffic collision in the Crawford Square area on 27 May.

He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 25 September.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
