Police are currently conducting searches in the Dungiven area for a male youth who has escaped from police custody.
The 15 year-old who is wearing a grey tracksuit and black shoes escaped from a parked police car in the Glenshane Road area at around 4.25pm.
Chief Inspector Andy Lemon said: “The youth is not believed to pose a risk to the public and I would appeal to anyone with any information as to his whereabouts to contact police in Limavady on 101.”
