As part of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, members of Destined have this week hosted a Disability Awareness information session discussing their lived experience of life with a learning disability. The day was marked with a number of activities across the Council area hosted by cultural venues and disability lead organisations including the Millennium Forum, Lilliput, Tuned In, Destined, Foyle Down Syndrome Trust and RNIB.
