Band members taking part in a parade in Limavady on Friday night have come under fire after they were pictured apparently urinating against the wall of a Parochial House.

The two men, who were photographed by a local person, are members of one of the 40 bands which took part in the Friday night’s Orange Order parade.

This was the first major parade of the season in the town, which was closed off for several hours as a result.

Speaking about the incident, east Derry MLA John Dallat hit out at those who were caught on camera committing the act.

“This behaviour is disgraceful and raises many questions about the supervision of these parades in Limavady,” said the SDLP man.
