A viable explosive device has been discovered following a security alert in west Belfast.
The alert was sparked after a suspicious object was found in the Ardnamonagh Parade area on Friday morning.
A number of residents were evacuated from their homes.

Ammunition technical officers attended and examined the device, which has been confirmed as viable.
It has been removed for further forensic testing.
Residents have returned home and all roads have re-opened.
A PSNI statement said: “Officers would like to thank the local community for their patience while they worked to make the area safe.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police in Woodbourne on 101, quoting reference number 18 24/10/25.”
