A man has sustained serious facial injuries after being assaulted in Lisburn.
The man, who was aged in his 20s, was attacked after an argument broke out outside a licenced premises in the Queensway area.
The incident happened around 1am on Saturday.
Police said one of the men involved in the verbal altercation attacked the man with a glass item.
A PSNI statement said: “Officers attended who provided first aid to the man at the scene. He was subsequently transported to hospital for treatment to his injuries and remains in a stable condition.”
Officers have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
