Peace Bridge in Derry reopens sooner than expected after vandalised panels are replaced

Bridge had been due to be closed for three days

Derry's Peace Bridge has reopened this evening.

The bridge was closed earlier today as work was carried out to replace a number of vandalised glass panels.

It was originally that the bridge would be closed for three days to allow the work to be carried out.

However, the panels were replaced much quicker than anticipated and the bridge has now reopened.
