Council meetings to return to the Guildhall after being forced online because of the pandemic

Councillors will have to main social distancing at the meetings

Meetings of Derry City and Strabane District Council are to return to the Guildhall today.

Due to the coronavirus lockdown, all council meetings have been held online.

The meetings were screened live on the council's Youtube channel.

The council's Governance and Strategic Planning Committee monthly meeting will be held in the Guildhall today.

The council said that social distancing measures will be in place at the meeting.
