A new ‘app’ is to be launched to promote Derry’s famous Walls.
The Walls are the city’s biggest tourist attractions and are visited by thousands of people each year.
Now it’s hoped that the new app will help visitors enjoy the experience even more.
The app is based around a 12 point tour of the City Walls with historical information including images, maps and photographs at each stop.
At five stops, such as at Bishops Gate and Ship Quay Gate, there are also short videos which include computer generated images of those places in the past.
The app will be launched by the Environment Minister, Mark H Durkan, tomorrow at the Playhouse.
