A Porsche driver was caught by An Garda Síochána speeding far above the motorway limit this Monday afternoon.
Gardaí caught the driver going 189 km/h in a 120 km/h zone while conducting routine speed checks in Co Wexford.
On X, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána wrote: "You might have a high performance car but that doesn’t mean that you can drive 189 km/h in a 120/h zone."

They proceeded to pull over the speeding vehicle and issue the driver with a fixed charge notice.
