Driver in Longford caught speeding and positive for drugs | PICTURE: An Garda Síochána Twitter
A MOTORIST in Longford has been caught speeding while also being under the influence of drugs by the Roads Policing Unit this morning.
The car was traveling at 96km/h in a 50km/h zone near a primary school in wet conditions.
On further inception and after being stopped by the Gardai it was found that the female driver tested positive for cannabis and benzodiazepine.
She was arrested and court proceedings are to follow.
