Over 20kg of drugs were seized in Dublin | PICTURE: An Garda Síochána Facebook
REVENUE officers have seized approximately 20kgs of suspected cannabis herb with an estimated value of €400,000 in Dublin.
The seizure was made on Tuesday October 17, as part of an intelligence-led operation.
The joint operation was conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Clondalkin District Drugs Unit.
Two men, aged in their 30s. were arrested by An Garda Síochána.
They are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at garda stations in Dublin.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
