Police in Derry are appealing for information after a man's nose was broken during an assault in the Creggan Heights area in the early hours of Saturday, June 28.
The man was assaulted at aroud 1am by a gang of three males as he walked along a path from Ballymagowan towards Creggan Heights.
He suffered a broken nose, cuts and bruising to his body as a result of the assault.
One of the males was described as being around 6'2" tall and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
The other two males were around 5'10" tall, one of slim build and one of stocky build.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to contact them at Strand Road on the non emergency number 101.
Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
