A 35-year-old man charged in connection with the making and throwing of petrol bombs has been told he is not allowed to enter the Bogside area of Derry as part of his bail conditions.
Nathan Doherty, whose address was given on court papers as Harding Street in Derry, was charged with making petrol bombs on August 16.
The defendant also faced a charge of possessing petrol bombs and was further charged with attempting to cause damage or destroy a police landrover by throwing petrol bombs on the same date.
A police officer connected Doherty to the charges during the brief hearing at Derry Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
Doherty was released on his own bail to appear before the court again on October 24, and was ordered not to enter the Bogside area of city.
