Seasoned and budding entrepreneurs can look forward to one of the highlights of the local business calander when Enterprise Week returns across Derry and Strabane from March 6th to 10th 2023.
The theme for the event will be 'Seeds of Change' and seeks to explore the business lifecycle from ideation through to realisation and celebrate the Micro-Businesses and SMEs in the North West who have grown with purpose in recent years.
The full programme will be launched in January and include panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities.
Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Sandra Duffy, urged local business people to save the date ahead of the full launch.
"Enterprise Week 2023 will celebrate some of the thriving success stories within our own business community and highlight the creativity, ingenuity and acumen that owners have exhibited to take their Micro-Businesses and SMEs to the next level," she said.
"It's an ideal chance for our local business role models to share their story and impart their knowledge to the next batch of budding and emerging enterprises across the City and District.
"The programme is not just a great way to share ideas and experience but the events are an ideal opportunity for entrepreneurs of all levels to network and make new connections.
"I know in business time is always at a premium and that's why I'd urge our local entrepreneurs to make space in their diary now ahead of the announcement of the full programme in January."
Among the events confirmed for next year are the return of the popular Meet the Buyer event and the pitching competition Start Up Launch Pad North West.
The Funding Game will offer an insight into sources of financial support for your business while A Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion will showcase some of the inspirational business leaders who are displaying innovation and entrepreneurship locally.
