Case adjourned at Derry court against Woman who admitted stealing three hot tubs

A woman has admitted stealing three hot tubs and two sets of Christmas lights valued at £1,300 at Derry Magistrate's Court today.

Christina Margaret Stokes (28) of Labre Park in Derry admitted a series of theft charges.

The theft of the hot tubs and Christmas lights occurred on November 22 2018.

She also admitted stealing three lights valued at £268 on October 4 2018.

Stokes further pleaded guilty to stealing clothing valued at £90 on March 13 2019.

The defendant who was not legally represented said she wanted the offences to be dealt with in the Magistrate's Court. 

Her case was adjourned until January 20 to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
