Eurovision winning singer Dana will sing at St Michael's Church in Creeslough this evening
Derry's Eurovision Song Contest winner, Dana, will be the guest singer at the third Novena Mass in St Michael's Church, Creeslough, tonight.
In light of the Novena Mass, the Creeslough Community Association public meeting, which had been planned to take place this evening, has been postponed with a new date to be confirmed.
Dana Rosemary Scallon, known professionally as Dana, served as Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004. While still a schoolgirl at Derry's Thornhill College, she became Ireland's first winner of the Eurovision Song Contest when she shot to worldwide fame by winning the event in 1970 with 'All Kinds of Everything' in Amsterdam, before an estimated viewing audience of 200 million.
The novena will take place tonight, Thursday, at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
