After X-Factor... it's 'onwards and upwards' for barman Niall

One of the world’s leading songwriters-producers has expressed in an interest in working with Co Derry X-Faotor contestant Niall Sexton, it has been reported. The 22-year-old barman, from Magherafelt, failed to make it through to the live shows of the TV talent show at the weekend following his performance at judge Nicole Scherzinger’s luxury pad in the South of France. However, he said he was going to make the make the most of it his X-Factor experience. He said: “Everything happens for a reason I believe, she (Nicole) told me that she loved me and that she would love to put me through but maybe the show isn’t the right path for me, that’s why I moved to London yesterday- to strike while the Iron is hot. “I would really like to thank the show as well for giving me the exposure that it has, I really hope that I can make the most of it. I have got a few secret projects going on at the minute which is really exciting. I did my best but what’s meant for you, won’t go by you. “It’s onwards and upwards from here,” he said. Meanwhile, the Co Derry Post has reported there were unconfirmed reports that Calvin Harris has expressed interest in the Derry man and wants to work with him.
