BREAKING: Police in Derry charge 23-year-old man with murder of three-year-old boy

A 23-year-old man in Derry has been charged with the murder of a three-year-old boy. Detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch investigating the death of the toddler who was found dead in Colmcille Court in the Bogside on Sunday, September 17, 2017, have charged a 23-year-old man with the child's murder. The man is due to appear this morning at Derry Magistrates Court. Charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service. A 24-year-old woman, who was also arrested in connection with the child's death, has been released pending a report from the Public Prosecution Service.
