Local motorists warned of large fire on Glenshane Pass with smoke reducing visibility

The NI Weather and Flood Advisory Service have warned of a large fire in the Glenshane Pass area and urged local motorists to drive carefully. With temperatures expected to climb as high as 30c in some areas, a forest fire warning has already been issued. In a statement they said: "There are reports coming in of a rather large fire on the Glenshane Pass. "Please drive with caution as there are reports of reduced visibility due to a lot of smoke in the area. "Fire service are on scene."
