Date for Institute's first 'home' game at the Brandywell confirmed

The date of Institute FC's historic first match at the Brandywell Stadium has been announced. The Irish League club, whose ground at Drumahoe was destroyed by floods in August 2017, will play Newry City in their opening Danske Bank Premiership match on Saturday August 4. The club are set to play their home games in the Brandywell for the forseeable future after a fire at their already flood-ravaged Drumahoe base last Friday night effectively killed off any chances of restoring the Waterside ground.
