Fire crews tasked to the scene after blaze at Benone beach in Co Derry

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) were called out after a gorse fire broke out on the popular Benone Strand beach at Limavady in County Derry. Firefighters were called to the beach at 12:38 today. Seven fire appliances from Limavady, Coleraine, Dungiven, Ballymoney, Crescent Link and Maghera Fire Stations are in attendance The incident is ongoing.
