A Derry primary school has issued a warning to local parents after teenagers attempted to use heavy machinery after trespassing onto the grounds last night. The incident happened at Broadbridge Primary School in Eglinton on Monday evening. A spokesperson for the school said: "Late yesterday evening a group of teenagers trespassed into the school building site and were attempting to operate the heavy machinery. "We don't need to explain what might have been the consequences of these actions. "We would ask all members of our community to be vigilant when passing our school premises and help us to keep a check on it over the coming weeks. If you do see anything suspicious or any illegal trespassing on school ground you are asked to contact the police immediately. Thank you."
