BREAKING: Clipper fleet to arrive into Derry tomorrow a day ahead of of their scheduled arrival

The first yachts from the Clipper Around the World Yacht Race will arrive in Derry tomorrow - a day ahead of their scheduled arrival. The vessels are expected to come into the River Foyle at around noon tomorrow. They had originally been expected to arrive on Tuesday morning. Writing on the their official diary yesterday, Chris Kobusch, skipper with the Qingdao boat, said: "The mood on board is good though and we are all looking forward to the warm welcoming in Derry-Londonderry!" The arrival will come ahead of the Foyle Maritime Festival, which kicks off on Saturday, July 14.
