UPDATE: Translink confirm that services to the Bogside, Brandywell and Creggan areas have resumed but it will continue to 'monitor' the situation

Translink have said that Foyle Metro services 8A, 8B and 8C, which connect the city centre with the Bogside, Brandywell and Creggan areas, are back to normal this morning. The services were cancelled last night after a Housing Executive van was hijacked in the Creggan area and set on fire at the bottom of the Lecky Road flyover. Translink has said it will continue to 'monitor the situation'.
