Translink cancel bus services to the Brandywell, Bishop Street and Lone Moor areas of Derry until further notice

Translink has confirmed that it has cancelled its Foyle Metro services to the Brandywell, Bishop Street and Lone Moor areas of Derry until further notice. The move comes after six consecutive nights of trouble in the Bogside area. Translink stated that the cancellation began at 2.30pm today and is expected to last throughout tomorrow. "Until further notice Foyle Metro services 8a/b/c will only operate to/from Creggan. "Lone Moor, Bishop Street and Brandywell will not be served. "This disruption to services will last from 2.30pm on Friday,July 13 and all day Saturday, July 14. "However it is subject to change."
